Surprise, surprise … here’s another quick question:

Should the CPN host an annual international meeting?

These black & white yes/no questions are somewhat challenging as the answers are contingent on a variety of unidentified factors… especially including whether or not members (whoever they are, and their membership their levels) pay a subscription fee. I’ll keep answering as best as I can, however don’t think my answers are particularly reliable 🙂

    Oops – ‘tier levels’

Difficult to vote – there are pros and cons. In principle yes, but logistics need considering. So No with the meaning of an ‘annual International meeting’ as currently generally understood.

Linked to another event, such as the CPN Salon in Cape Town was highly successful, with meetings in two locations joined for some part. Ambitious to get global coverage except with technology as an add on for those who are unable to travel. Unconferencing?

I still think we should join in with existing international conferences, of which WCPT comes to the fore. This is now held every two years, and I think, given the amount of work that goes into planning, two yearly is enough

Yes, if we can do it by video con!
