CPN at Physiotherapy UK 2015

microphones like when someone is giving a presentation

Following on from a CPN presence at conferences in Australia & Mallorca earlier this year, critical physiotherapy was also on the programme at Physiotherapy UK 2015 in Liverpool last weekend.

CPN members were found dotted across the programme – infusing workshops (John Hammond), panel sessions (Jenny Setchell; & Gwyn Owen) & the closing plenary debate (Roger Kerry) with critical perspectives on being/doing physiotherapy.

One highlight of this busy 2-day event for me was the opportunity to spend time with CPN members – chatting about our work & sharing ideas about ways of working together to support the development of critical physiotherapy – through informal peer support & colloquia/’work in progress’ seminars. I sense that the small CPN gathering in Liverpool will be the first of many… watch this space!

Great to hear that the meeting went well and that the Network was well represented again. Looking forward to hearing about the debate on evidence-based practice.
