A radical new adventure in physiotherapy research publication was launched recently, and would be a fabulous vehicle for publishing for people in and around the Critical Physiotherapy Network. The OpenPhysio journal is the brainchild of A/Prof Michael Rowe, CPN Exec member and lecturer at the University of the Western Cape in South Africa. The first ever Free Critical Physiotherapy Online Course is coming
We've been planning to run a free online course on thinking critically about physiotherapy for some years, but now we are happy to announce that it has finally come to fruition. A team of CPN members have been thinking about the kind of course that we would want for months now, and we have taken our time to try to develop a program that we think you will find interesting and exciting. What’s next – A critical physiotherapy course perhaps?
One thing you can definitely say about the CPN is that we like a project. We try to keep a lot of things consistent (blogging, meetings, social media, etc), but also run large projects in the background (collaborative articles, presentations and books). And having just published Manipulating practices, it's time to think what's next. We've been talking for some time about developing an on-line international course in critical thinking, but until this week it was only the germ of an idea.
