Many of you who attended our last CPN Salon at the last WCPT meeting in Cape Town will remember what a fantastic day we had.
Meeting so many members face-to-face, as well as the great presentations and fabulous venue made for a memorable day.
We’re starting to make plans for a repeat event in Geneva, probably on the day after the WCPT Congress, and we’d like to know if you’d be interested in attending.
We plan to run the day in a similar way to the last one, so there will be some talks, some workshops, and, of course, some hearty debate and discussion.
So if you’d keen to know more or register your interest, please email Jenny Setchell and she will add you to the contact list.
Best wishes,
Dave Nicholls

Might anyone be interested organising a smaller scale symposium running at the same time, like the one at Cardiff last time? The WCPT conference is so expensive, especially without institutional support. I’d be willing to help organise something in the UK or EU if anyone has a space. Let me know!

Love Anna’s idea of organising/running a session in parallel to CPN Salon at WCPT for folk in the UK who want to connect but who can’t (for whatever reason) make it to Geneva. The Cardiff Colloquium that ran in parallel to CPN Salon in CapeTown was a very positive experience (ouline programme – https://criticalphysio.net/2017/06/19/cpn-colloquium-physiotherapy-bodies-professional-practices-identities-cardiff-5th-july-2017/). The informality of an ‘unconference’ format worked well & it was great that technology & timezones allowed us to connect with Cape Town from Cardiff. Very happy to help organise a similar session in the UK – Gwyn

I really enjoyed the colloquium too, Gwyn. Thank you, and Graeme and Nicky, for making it happen! I’m so glad to hear you are interested in co-organising something similar. Happy to do whatever needed to help. Anna
