I am professor at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Physiotherapy at OsloMet – Oslo Metropolitan University, and in addition hold a part-time position as researcher at the University of Oslo, Faculty of Medicine, Dep of Interdisciplinary Health Sciences. My clinical experience is mainly within the field of Habilitation, where I for many years have worked as physiotherapist for children and adolescent. Based on a phenomenological perspective, I explored in my doctoral thesis how children with different defined medical diagnosis, which in various ways affected their movement capacity, experienced to move in daily life, in test situations and in a movement group based on movement improvisation. The last years, my research has been on examining physiotherapy as practice within the research program FYSIOPRIM (Physiotherapy in primary care) in Norway.
